Theories.

Okay, so while I was at MacDonald's, enjoying the biggest hamburger they had to offer and some root beer and fries just out of the greasy friers, a question suddenly popped into my head:

How the hell did I get in New York?!?!

The house that we had ended up in that continuously screwed with us had been in Florida. I ended up in a coma for about a month (thanks to SOME certain people -cough- UZUKI -cough-). I woke up in a hospital in New York.

So, did they transport me from a hospital in Florida all the way to New York? To me, that just doesn't make sense (they could have taken me to any bloody hospital, they didn't need to take me back all the way to New York).

So I decided to ask my friend UZUKI. Unable to come up with an answer, she asked her good friend/boyfriend, Saichi (also a penname), a Slender Man researcher, who's dissected the book House of Leaves from front to back, all the way to its spine. So thankfully, I have a couple of friends to back me up if I run into trouble (sorta. They're not being haunted by Slender Man right now, not to mention they live all the way up in Atlantic Canada :/ You could say they're helping me with research, not running). UZUKI brought up the subject with Saichi, and Saichi came up with a theory, due to past research on the internet (and probably creepypasta.com too).

Their theory goes like so:

When Luka and I entered the house, we not only got trapped in the time-warp dimensional trap that Slendy always makes, but also in a sort of location-warp as well, which means that when we entered the house, we were in Florida, but when we left, we were in New York.

Because when I think about it, I don't think any of us looked back at the house when we got outside. If what UZUKI and Saichi says is true, it would make sense if we went into one house and ended up outside another in a totally different location (at least, it makes sense in Slender Man logic).

We could have ended up in the New York house the moment we entered it, but it makes more sense to me that we landed in New York when the shape-shifting in the house began (remember the differences in the bedrooms? One had papers that were blank, the other had papers with words and drawings on it; one had a window, the other had a door). It would also make somewhat sense in Michael's case too - he could have gone into the house in New York, and then he got trapped in the basement. Then I entered the house in Florida and when I ended up in the basement, I found him.

But that's another thing that I'm stumped on. I entered the house in Florida, and was transferred to New York. Does that mean that Michael entered the house in New York and was transferred to Florida? If he was, he shouldn't have been in the basement of that house, unless he was being transferred to New York as well.

Gah, I'm thinking too hard with all of this. But during all this, I managed to come up with a few of my own questions/theories.

Question/Theory #1: Why did I end up in a coma?

I'm aware that people sometimes faint when they see Slender Man, or in cases of the Hallowed, they black out and don't wake up for a few minutes to even a few hours or days. But I ended up asleep for over a month, which doesn't make sense to me. Maybe Slender Man got pissed at me so much because I tried talking to him? (which, again, I'm blaming you for, UZUKI).

Question/Theory #2: The Houses

When Saichi and UZUKI told me about the house theory, how it took me from Florida all the way back to New York, I started to wonder if there are any more of these houses out there. There was the house in Florida, the house that I got out of in New York, the house that appeared in Marble Hornets back in the earlier Entries, the house that the Rake haunted Alex in, and the house from the Navidson Records (a.k.a, House of Leaves, which I have no idea where the house is located; just another question to get UZUKI to ask Saichi for me).

Question/Theory #3: What happened to Michael?

Just after Luka tasered him, poor old Michael screamed a very unpleasant scream and threw up what looked like black goo. After reading my post, UZUKI told me not to trust him, because apparently Slender Man's weakness is The Substance/electricity - if a Proxy/Agent comes into contact with the Substance, it forces them to throw up a black substance. Of course, this doesn't make much sense because he wasn't hit with the Substance - he got tasered with 40,000 volts of electricity (that's how much is in a taser, right?). I'm still looking more into this - I'm hoping Michael isn't a Proxy, but he's not showing many signs (code writing, blacking out, etc.). But I'm not going to be too careful - when it comes to Proxies/Agents, it's better to be safe than sorry.

Question/Theory #4: So why New York?

If my second theory is true and there are more of these houses at there that are under His 'control', then why would He take me to a place like New York? I know that He's stupid and can't get you when you're up high, but he should know by now that He can't catch the runners that stay in New York for a while - so why would he send me to a safe zone? He could be trying to lure me into a trap - much like the situation our friend M is in right now - or He could be trying to tell me something. Again, I'm not going to think too hard on it, but it would be nice to have a bit of a back-up reason so that I don't freak out too much about it.

That's it for today, I think. If I come up with anything else, or if anything happens, I'll put up another post. For now, I'm going to find another place with Michael and Luka. We're also keeping an eye out for M - if you happen to be reading this, M, I'd be happy if you could keep an eye out for us. Just look for a girl who looks schizophrenic hanging out with two guys, a blond guy and a black-haired guy. Also, I'll be wearing a Legend of Zelda t-shirt and a Super Mario belt.
